Systems and Project Engineer (f/m/d)

 

Your Role

As the Systems & Project Engineer, you work very closely with the management team on getting new clients onboarded and convince them for our products. You are also the main speak-to-person on systems level for our internal engineering team and will manage the project engineering with our customers. Based on our small and efficient team, you are working hands-on with the actual product through all phases of development. You manage the development project inside our organization to ensure appropriate implementation and validation in our supporting hardware and software teams. You will be also a key person for our supplier and will be involved in the ramp up phase incl. auditing of our products at the supplier base. You will have decisive influence on the technical concepts of future sensor technologies through your work and you will be a key person to build up an experienced engineering team within the company.

 

Your Responsibilities

  • Technical project and platform management of our shunt sensor products

  • Safety analysis and safety documentation of our electronics platforms during the concept and system design phase

  • Product and feature definition and systematic innovation of new concepts

  • Definition and management of system level requirements & coordination them between stakeholders

  • Design, execution and analysis of engineering, validation and production tests and test equipment in coordination with other departments

  • Responsible to implement a stable supply chain process with our partners for sensor products

 

Your Profile

  • Successfully completed university degree in an engineering field

  • Basic circuit design skills and understanding of electric powertrains

  • Experience in software development (embedded C/C++, SCRUM process)

  • Proven expert knowledge in automotive battery systems and/or electronics

  • Highly motivated, willing to take responsibility and ownership of a project

  • Creativity, curiosity and enthusiasm for setting a new benchmark in sensing solutions for electric vehicles

  • Preference for working in teams and strong communication skills (English; German favorable)
